Setting Up Your Bang & Olufsen Speakers

At Watt Integration, we’re all about immersive sound. Whether you’re watching live sports, listening to music, or watching an old classic, our Bang & Olufsen speakers turn everything you hear into one, bombastic package.

Optimizing your home theater setup for new Bang & Olufsen speakers is easier than it sounds. Take it from us, we’ve been in the home integration business for twenty years and a Bang & Olufsen vendor for 10. We were handpicked by the decade-old brand because we are the best of the best. Since then, half of our focus has been selling these products and setting them up for quality-seekers like you.

There’s a reason they’ve been around for over a century: Bang & Olufsen speakers are the best on the market, helped by a versatile, stylish catalog.  Your home theater can have perfect acoustics without sacrificing your consistent home decor.

Bang & Olufsen speakers are built to last for generations, through multiple stylistic changes. Our speakers offer everything you didn’t know you needed and so much more. You’ll also find yourself needing subtitles less and less.

Our first step is to figure out exactly what you want, and exactly how much it’ll cost. Following a step-by-step consultation and a little bit of setup, you’ll become the de facto host for movie night. First, it’s important to establish exactly what you want.

The ideal home theater setup has Multiple channels of audio. We don’t just mean a soundbar and a subwoofer. We have several configuration options we use to reduce clutter and maximize your enjoyment.

Just a few of these options include a 3.1 system, which includes 3 speakers and a subwoofer, 5.1 surround sound, with five speakers, or a 7.1 system, which includes seven speakers. We even have TVs with integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers.

Rest assured that no matter what you choose, it will be fully integrated and easily synced.
Working within your budget and parameters, we’ll handle everything from placement to calibration.

Placement is just as important as the hardware itself. Surround sound is more than a feature, it’s a choice you make to optimize your living space.

One tip to be weary of is placing the back of your speaker close to the wall to reinforce bass. While this is true, it is possible to be too close to the wall and lose some sound quality. The thing you’ll want closest to the wall will be your subwoofer. Subwoofers handle low-frequency sounds, like punchy bass. Strong bass (and lack of imagination) are the first pitfall in DIY home theater systems.

Another rule of thumb is to make sure the speakers are facing your listening positions. It’s best to set speakers higher and aim down than go lower and aim up. Within your living space are near-infinite options on where to mount your speakers, and set up your TV,  limited only by budget, time, and imagination.

Dare to think bigger. Bigger like wall-mounted speakers, aimed down at your viewing area. Picture your dream setup and leave the rest up to us. We do this all day.
